Transporters and Consolidators

Transporters

Transporters pick-up WEEE from approved OES collection points around the province and transport the WEEE to approved regional consolidation centres, also under contract with OES. The OES uses an established Bill of Lading practice and strictly adheres to Transportation of Dangerous Goods requirements.

Transporters that are interested in providing services for the program are asked to apply and register with OES. Once approved, OES will contact you as necessary to move WEEE from collection points to consolidation sites around the province.

Consolidators

Consolidators receive and sort designated WEEE for distribution to OES approved primary processors. OES is always interested in expanding its province-wide network of consolidators.

Designated WEEE is consolidated into larger loads at consolidation sites for shipment.  Consolidators’ application and registration forms are subject to approval by OES’ Board of Directors. Approved consolidators are contracted to provide services, as needed for a specified period of time
