OES Board dismayed and in disagreement with recent communication from RPRA’s Registrar
We are dismayed and in disagreement with the recent communication from RPRA’s outgoing Registrar, Mr. Moran, to the municipalities in Ontario. Mr. Moran never had the courtesy to communicate with OES, consult on or advise on his letter before publishing. OES and all staff supporting OES have made every effort to manage the program responsibly and effectively and in fact have done so successfully. Extensive steps have been taken by OES and EPRA to segregate the entity operations to comply with the wind up plan and every step has been approved by RPRA. EPRA has proven to be a responsible, reliable and ethical service provider. There is no evidence to our knowledge that any intentional activity was undertaken by either OES or EPRA to provide anything but assistance and support for our municipalities, generators and collection sites across the province. If you have any questions or comments, we can be reached at info@oes.ca.
