As part of the Wind Up of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Program, OES held consultation sessions through the end of October and the month of November 2018. All sessions covered the same material.
The OES wind up plan has been provided to the Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority in December 2018 as required by the Ministry of Environment direction letter dated February 2018. Next steps include RPRA reviewing the plan in early 2019 and holding consultation sessions on the plan during the first six months of 2019.
The Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks will be holding webinars in early January regarding the WEEE and batteries regulations that will come into effect beginning July 1st, 2020. Please click here for more information and to register by January 4th for a MECP webinar.
Any questions on wind up at any time can be directed to: email@example.com
OES has announced the Steward EHF change to $0 effective February 1st, 2019.
