These initiatives support all activities and inform Ontario residents on the importance of responsible end-of-life management of their electronic devices while providing information on safe convenient drop-off locations. In 2016, OES expanded on its communications strategy of putting a spotlight on the valuable materials inside end-of-life electronics with Earth Week and Waste Reduction Week events as well as taking its message directly into Ontario classrooms. QUALITATIVE MARKET RESEARCH AND PROGRAM AWARENESS: In 2016, OES commissioned Ipsos Reid to measure brand awareness of the program. Ipsos Reid conducted survey research among adults living in Ontario and data was weighted to reflect the adult population of Ontario by region, age and gender.
